Working backstage on Bla Battikatiby4 Jays - Grupp Teatrali was once again such a fun and rewarding experience. As one of the proud sponsors of the production, I had the opportunity not only to support the show but also to lead the makeup team alongside some amazing members who helped with the applications throughout the performances.

Being part of productions like this always reminds me how important makeup is in bringing characters to life on stage. Theatre makeup is very different from everyday glam, as every look needs to work in strong lighting, suit the character's personality, and remain flawless throughout long performances and quick backstage changes.

For this production, teamwork was everything. Having other members of the group assisting with applications made the experience even more special, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the support, energy, and dedication everyone brought backstage.

A huge thank you goes to the cast and crew of Bla Battikati for trusting me once again and to everyone who came to support the show. It’s always an honour to combine my passion for makeup with local theatre and entertainment.

A new TikTok trend celebrating 10 years since 2016 has emerged, and I just had to be part of it. The trend revolves around recreating iconic 2016 makeup looks which, honestly, I was probably still doing in 2018. At the time, YouTube tutorials were my main reference, and I was very much in the experimenting phase, trying to figure out my makeup style. Filming this tutorial was so much fun and felt like a trip down memory lane. Revisiting techniques and products I used back then reminded me of how far I’ve come. Some of the products I reached for hadn’t been used in a long time, which also made me realise just how extensive my makeup collection has become. That moment alone felt special - a reminder of my growth, my journey, and how lucky I am to be surrounded by something I truly love.
